The Nationally Funded suite is a group of modules that are available free of charge to New Zealand health professionals. The modules are funded by a variety of organisations. As part of our contractual obligation to the funders, bestpractice is to be installed at every GP practice in the country and the modules in the Nationally Funded suite made freely available.

From your assessment of acne severity, access the most appropriate resources and treatments options for your patient. If isotretinoin is appropriate, progress seamlessly to initiate and manage this.

Facilitate the reporting of adverse reactions to medications and vaccines with this on-line form. The completed form is sent electronically to the Centre for Adverse Reaction Monitoring (CARM) while a copy is retained in the patient record.
This module is funded by Medsafe.
This module represents the current guidelines for confirming the probability of asthma from an initial diagnosis of presenting symptoms. It also gives decision support for the control and treatment of childhood asthma using a stepwise approach.

Create an individualised action plan illustrating which device the patient should use and when to use it. A black and white copy can be given to the patient at the consultation and a high quality, colour version is then posted to the patient’s address.

A logical and thorough resource to ensure effective screening and assessment of adults with depression. Leaving you more time to spend listening and engaging with your patients.

This module focuses on the recognition and assessment of common mental disorders in the antenatal and postnatal period, and the management of depression in women during this period.

The Depression in the Elderly module can assist in the assessment and subsequent management of depression in older adults. The Depression module defaults to the elderly version if the patient is 60 years of age or older.

Using appropriate resources and assessment tools, this module gives management options reflecting a stepped care approach for this unique patient group. Red flags highlight the need for referral.

This module standardises the referral process while allowing ready access to supporting patient information. The post-termination check-up and Invoice for section 88 GPs is also automatically pre-formatted ready for use.
This module is funded by the Ministry of Justice.
Facilitate the notification of patients with injuries or diseases due to hazardous substances, or cases of lead poisoning to the local Medical Officer of Health. The completed form is sent electronically to the public health unit and included in a surveillance database maintained by the Centre for Public Health Research, Massey University.
This module is funded by the Ministry of Health.
This module utilises a formula developed by Ryan et al which assists clinicians adjust oral anticoagulant doses in patients. It also recommends the time interval for the next follow up visit and prints a Patient Dose calendar if required.

Either as a stand-alone module or as part of the acne management module; progress through patient consent documents, lab request forms, results and writing the script with quick access to the special authority process. Module includes both patient and prescriber information about the safe use of isotretinoin.

In response to feedback, the online ACC18 continues to launch enhancements; the following will be available from 27 November.
Fitness for Work Tab - Calendar: Moving the mouse over the calendar for longer periods has been made easier.
Declaration Tab - ACC Identification: There will be a reduction in the number of identifiers from five to four; no direct impact on the Provider.
